Reorganizing and clearing out some things on my desk today. I also restocked some of my baker twines. Can you believe how thick these things can get? I absolutely forgot they came in such blocky sizes—-no wonder my old one lasted me a lifetime!
Found some really amazing vintage ads here. I can’t quite pick a favorite era, they’re all very inspiring!
Hope everyone’s having a great Easter Sunday tomorrow. Can’t believe how fast these weeks flew by—can someone seriously hit the breaks on 2012?!
I was rather late this year, but I hope I somehow got mother’s day cards just in time for you lovelies. Check out my latest cards for mom fresh in the shop today. Here and here :)
One of my first wrapped up suites for the year. I’m loving this new take at my original library themed suite. :) The URL is changed for privacy purposes.
This wedding season is kicking my butt! :) It’s been fun but I’m looking forward for when things slow down a bit. :)
My (unusually) tidy workspace is featured as part of fellow designer Eva Black’s continuing series on “Spaces”. My space featured here, and her blog here. Do check out the previous work spaces she’s featured and be on the look out for more to come.
This particular card was inspired from a “statement” tie I saw. Didn’t want to say “gaudy”, in case someone actually owns one! Heh. :)
Good Morning! New Easter cards available at the shop today. I hope you like ‘em!
Tidying up some

I’m really excited to wrap up February and start fresh on a lot of things! It’s been a pretty crazy few couple of months from when I opened shop last November. Since then, I’ve experienced so much surge of support and props. It’s surreal and unbelievable! I still bounce around the room (with my husband) every time I stumble upon a blog feature or a nice shout-out from someone on twitter. I can’t remember how many times I’ve had to give my heartfelt thanks to everyone who love the work that I do—-but here’s another big fat thank you to all of you guys and gals!
I haven’t quite gathered my bearings with all my shop activities and I noticed I needed to do some upkeep in terms of branding and packaging. So yes, tidying up is in order! :)
In other news—

I hope you’re not tired of my terrarium postcards yet, because you might just be seeing more of it at an Anthropologie near you. :) I’m not yet sure how many stores it’s going to be in but I hope one lands at my local Anthro!
We’ve been twining and packing the Anthropologie order for almost a week now, albeit leisurely. I wanted to make this whole thing a fun process regardless of how hugely overwhelming it is. There definitely were a lot of chit-chats and panini breaks. :) My parents-in-law have been super amazing lending their vacation time to help us with production. We’re also very thankful for our super awesome friends Ferrara and Jordan for putting in the hours to help. It didn’t hurt that they brought with them their 2-month old boy as a very welcome distraction. :) This project was a great excuse to hang out with friends & family. I’ll miss our bonding sesh when it’s done, but I sure can’t wait to have all them shipped out and in-store!
Emerald Petals

Dropped off some cards last week at Emerald Petals here in Portland and got to meet shop-owner, Hilary Holmes. I wish I got to stay longer—her shop is seriously an eco-wonderland! Do check them out (and my cards!) if you’re in the neighborhood. :)
